The sun-wheel.
On the occasion of the RC Cagliari 50th anniversary celebrations, the club donated a large stone wheel made by Pinuccio Sciola, a famous Sardinian sculptor.
The monument has been erected in the Garden of Saint Lucifer and represents the Rotary wheel, its spokes symbolizing Rotarian universality.
Guide to Cagliari's archaeological museum.
The National Archaelogical Museum has recently been moved to the "Citadel of the Museums", in the old fortress of Cagliari. A pocket guide is soon to be printed within the framework of the club's 50th anniversary celebrations to make the museum more widely known.
Our magazine RC Cagliari has been issuing its own magazine since the early fifties. Initially it was an information bulletin, but recently it has become a true magazine with articles on economy, culture and Sardinian history together with internal and rotarian news.
The magazine, called "Rotary Club Cagliari" is published every two months in a limited number of copies. Each issue contains about 80 pages, in 24x17 cm format.
Copies can be obtained from the Club Secretary.
